Synqora is a family organization app with one shared calendar for everyone's schedules, tasks and reminders, shared lists for to-dos, shopping, recipes and saved videos, and a built-in AI assistant — plus Invites for planning with other families and local classes and camps.
The basics
What is Synqora?
Synqora is one shared calendar for your whole family, with a friendly AI assistant built in. Everyone's school runs, practices, appointments, chores and reminders sit in one place, color-coded by person, and shared lists keep to-dos, shopping, family recipes and saved videos together. Tell the assistant "dentist for Mia Tuesday at 4" and it sets it up, checking with you before it changes anything. It works on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web.
Who is Synqora for?
Busy families: parents juggling school, sports, appointments and household jobs, plus the grandparents, nannies and caregivers who help. If your week is spread across work calendars, a school portal, a team app and a group chat, Synqora puts it in one view the whole family shares.
How much does Synqora cost?
New accounts start with a free 45-day trial of Family Plus. After the trial, you can keep using Synqora on the free Guest plan, and your data stays put, or choose Family Plan, Family Plus or Family Premium. The pricing page always shows today's prices and what each plan includes.
Is Synqora safe for my kids?
Only people in your family account can see your calendar, lists and chats. There are no public profiles, no ads and no third-party trackers. Kids can be on the calendar without their own login, and Synqora screens messages and photos for inappropriate content before the assistant sees them.
What devices does Synqora work on?
iPhone and iPad (App Store), Android phones and tablets (Google Play), and any web browser at synqora.online. Your account and family data are the same everywhere. On iPhone you can also ask Synqora questions through Siri, and an Apple TV app shows your family calendar on the big screen.
What languages and countries does Synqora support?
Synqora is available worldwide, in English.
Can I use Synqora just as a family calendar?
Yes. Many families start with the calendar and the assistant, and add Lists, Invites and classes later, when they need them.
Getting set up
How do I get started?
Create an account on the web or in the app. In the app you can set up by chatting with your assistant ("Chat set up") or by filling in a few short steps ("Self set up"): name your assistant and your family, add family members, set your home location, and optionally connect your calendars. You can skip any step and finish later.
Can I add my kids or grandparents without them signing up?
Yes. Add anyone as a family member so they appear on the calendar and can be given tasks; no login needed. Turn on access for anyone who should sign in themselves, using their email address. A grandparent or caregiver can belong to more than one family and switch between them.
Can I bring in my Google, Outlook or Apple calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, or paste a calendar subscription link (often called iCal or .ics) from Apple Calendar, a school portal or a team app. You can connect more than one account. Synqora shows these events alongside your own but never changes the originals.
How do I sign in?
Use an email and password, a sign-in link sent to your email, or your Google, Apple or Microsoft account. You can turn on two-step verification for extra security.
Calendar and reminders
How do I see everyone's schedule in one place?
Open Home. Every family member's tasks, events, reminders and imported calendars appear together, color-coded by person. Switch between a day view with a column per person, three days, a week, a month, or longer ranges up to a year, and filter to one person when you only need their plans. Changes show up on everyone's devices.
Can I set up chores and repeating tasks?
Yes. In Plans → Tasks, create a task, assign it to one or more people, and repeat it daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Change just one occurrence without touching the rest. Mark a task as time-sensitive and Synqora alerts the people assigned if it isn't done shortly after it ends.
Will Synqora remind me?
Yes. Create a reminder in Plans → Reminders, or tick "Add reminder" on any task or event. In the iPhone and Android apps, reminders arrive as phone notifications even when the app is closed; on the web they pop up while Synqora is open. Your recent notifications are kept for 90 days in Family → Notifications.
Does it work with time zones and different week starts?
Yes. Give any item its own time zone, which is handy for trips or relatives abroad, and Synqora shows it at the right local time. On the web, you can also choose which day your week starts in Account → Calendar week.
Can I use Synqora offline?
You can look at your calendar and lists without a connection. Changes need a connection, and Synqora tells you if something wasn't saved so you can try again.
Can I export my Synqora calendar to another app?
Not today. Synqora imports other calendars but doesn't export its own.
Does Synqora show the weather?
On plans that include weather, Home shows the current conditions and today's hourly forecast for your home location, and you can ask the assistant about the forecast.
Lists, recipes and videos
What's in Lists?
Lists has four shared lists the whole family sees and updates:
- To-Do for the jobs that don't need a time
- Shopping for every store and occasion
- Recipes for your family's cookbook
- Saved videos for clips you want to find again
How does the to-do list work?
Add a to-do and Synqora sorts it into one of ten categories, like Home & Household or Education & Learning, or pick one yourself. Assign it to one person, several or everyone, then view your list by All, Category or Person and tick things off as you go.
How does the shopping list work?
Add items by typing (press return or a comma after each to add several at once), pasting a list, or asking the assistant. Each item is sorted into a category automatically, and you can view the list by All Items, Stores, Categories or Occasions. Occasions group items for a purpose, like "Weekly groceries" or "Maya's birthday", and can be linked to an event.
Can I keep our family recipes in Synqora?
Yes. Save a recipe with its ingredients, steps, servings, prep and cook time, tags, a photo and a video link; without a photo, Synqora gives it a matching food picture. With one tap, add all the ingredients, or just the ones you need, to your shopping list. You can also ask the assistant to save a recipe, find one, or add its ingredients to your list.
How do Saved videos work?
Paste a link from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo, Netflix, Prime Video or almost any site, and Synqora fills in the title and thumbnail. Add tags and notes, then browse by All, Source or Tag. A video you add to a recipe is saved here too, and tapping a video opens it in its own app or site.
The AI assistant
What can the AI assistant do?
Tell it what's happening and it handles the details. You can give it any name you like. It can:
- add, move or remove tasks, events, reminders, to-dos and shopping items
- answer questions like "What's on Thursday?" or "Who hasn't replied to Maya's party?"
- spot clashes and suggest the nearest free time
- read a photo, PDF or web page you share and add the dates it finds
- save recipes and videos, search the web, and register your kids for classes
How do I talk to the assistant?
Type in the chat on the web or in the app, attach a photo or PDF, or paste a link. On iPhone, say "Hey Siri, ask Synqora" and ask your question; Siri reads the answer back without opening the app.
Does the assistant change things without asking?
Before it creates or changes a task, event or reminder, or deletes anything, it shows you the exact details, such as the title, date and time, and waits for you to tap Confirm. Quick list changes, like adding milk, ticking off a to-do or saving a recipe, happen straight away and can be undone. If someone in your family edits the same item first, Synqora stops and tells you instead of overwriting their change.
What if the assistant gets something wrong?
Say "undo" or "scratch that" to reverse its last quick list change (within 24 hours). For anything you confirmed, just ask it to change it back. When a request is unclear, it asks one question rather than guessing a time or a person, and for a repeating event it asks whether you mean this one or the whole series.
Does the AI keep my chats?
No. The chat clears when you close it, after 20 minutes of inactivity, or when you tap New chat. If you tell it something worth remembering, like "buddy means Jack", it offers to save that as a house rule (up to 20), which you can review or remove in Family → House Rules.
What are AI credits, and will I run out?
AI credits are your monthly allowance for using the assistant. A message uses credits based on how much work it takes, each attached photo or PDF adds more, and sorting a list item with AI uses 1 (items Synqora already recognizes are free). Messages that start with "Support:" are free. Your allowance resets each month on your renewal day; ask "how many credits do I have left?" anytime.
Can I use Synqora from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes, on Family Premium. In Settings, give ChatGPT or Claude permission to see and update your Synqora calendar and lists, then manage them from that app. You can switch access off anytime.
Does Synqora work with Alexa or Google Assistant?
Not yet. On iPhone you can use Siri today.
Privacy and safety
Who can see my family's information?
Your calendar, lists, recipes and chats are visible only to members of your family account. What you choose to share, like an Invite or a shared Spotlight list, is visible to the people you share it with. An Invite's picture can be opened by anyone who has its link, so choose photos you're happy to share.
Does the AI see my kids' names?
Wherever possible, Synqora does its best to mask personal details, like names, email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses, before your request is sent to any outside AI service. Private events from a connected work calendar reach the assistant only as "Time blocked". For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Is my data used to train AI?
Based on feedback, like the 👍 or 👎 on an assistant reply, we continuously update our systems to provide better service. For how your information is handled, see our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Does Synqora show ads or track me?
No ads. The Synqora web app loads no third-party analytics, advertising or session-recording scripts.
How does the emergency (Panic) button work?
Save up to five emergency contacts in Family → Contacts. In the iPhone or Android app, tapping Panic opens a text message to them, sent from your own phone with your current location; Synqora never receives that location. On the web, it copies a help message for you to send.
Can I keep important family contacts in Synqora?
Yes. Contacts holds your family's key numbers, sorted into groups like Emergency, Health, Repairs, Insurance and Finance, and you can link a contact to a family member.
How do I delete my account?
The account owner can delete it in Account settings on the web or in the app. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. If you subscribed through the App Store, also cancel that subscription in your Apple settings.
Plans and billing
What's the difference between the plans?
Here is what each plan includes today. The pricing page has prices and the full feature list.
- Guest (free): Free account with access to community feature only; up to 6 family members and 1 AI credits a month
- Family Plan: Everything that a family needs; up to 8 family members and 5,000 AI credits a month
- Family Plus: Everything in Family plan + Create shared events and spotlights, up to 10 members,; up to 10 family members and 10,000 AI credits a month
- Family Premium: Everything in Plus + Integration with Claude, More members, More AI Credits, More Simultaneous shared events and Spotlights, Manage a learning center; up to 12 family members and 20,000 AI credits a month
How many family members can I add?
It depends on your plan, and higher plans allow more. The pricing page lists the current limit for each plan.
What happens when my free trial ends?
When your free trial ends, your account moves to the free Guest plan. Your family's data is kept, so you can pick up where you left off when you subscribe.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
The account owner manages the plan. If you subscribed on the web, change or cancel it in Membership at synqora.online. If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, manage it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
Planning with other families
What are Invites?
Invites are events you share with other families, like a birthday party, a team picnic or a carpool plan. Guests reply yes, no or maybe, say how many adults and kids are coming, and see the plan on their own calendar. Replying is free for guests.
What can I do as a host?
As a host, you can:
- add co-hosts, set a guest limit and a reply-by date
- add sign-ups, polls, guest questions and costs
- message guests by email, text or app notification
- check guests in at the door, then see a recap of who came
- use "Host this again" to reuse an Invite next time
Who can I invite?
Anyone you send the Invite's link or code to, like classmates' parents, team families or neighbors. You choose who's invited; Synqora doesn't suggest families you don't know.
Can Synqora help with carpools?
Yes, with an Invite. Create one for the carpool so every family involved sees who's driving and when.
What are Spotlights?
Spotlights are highlighted dates and date ranges on your calendar, like birthdays, holidays, trips or school breaks. Add your own in Community → Spotlight → Family, or follow a shared list, like a school's holiday calendar, from a code, link, QR code or search. Following a shared list is free; creating your own shared lists depends on your plan.
How do I find classes and camps for my kids?
In Community → Learning, browse local learning centers by category or age, or look near you, then open a center to see its classes and camps. Register your kids in the app; once the center approves, the sessions appear on your family calendar. The center takes payment directly, not through Synqora.
Can I list my classes or camps on Synqora?
Yes, on Family Premium. Set up a learning center, publish one-off, weekly or multi-day classes and camps, approve registrations, manage a waitlist and check students in for each session.
What does the Apple TV app do?
It shows your family calendar on the TV, easy to read from across the kitchen, and, when you host an Invite, a live "Who's here" board of arriving guests. To pair it, enter the code shown on the TV at synqora.online/tv or in the app.
Does Synqora work for co-parents in separate households?
Invite a co-parent into the same family account so you both see and manage the kids' schedule. If you keep separate accounts, share specific plans with an Invite.
Help
How do I get help?
Start a message to the assistant with "Support:" and your question, and it goes to the Synqora team; these messages are free. You can also ask the assistant "how do I…" for step-by-step help with any setting. Synqora is operated by SYNQORA LLC.
How do I tell other families about Synqora?
Open Share and send a ready-made message by text, WhatsApp, email or your phone's share sheet. The link takes each person to the right place: the App Store, Google Play or the website.
How is Synqora different from other family apps?
Synqora pairs a shared family calendar with an assistant you can just talk to, which double-checks before changing anything important. Lists, recipes, saved videos, local classes and planning with other families are in the same app. There's nothing extra to buy: it runs on the phones, tablets and computers you already have.
